- Gather everyone into a circle.
- Ask, "Who knows everyone's name in this group?"
- Say, “It's hard to remember names. But it's important to try our best! Today we will play a name game that will help us to remember everyone's names.”
- Explain the instructions.
- Each participant will take a turn stepping forward and saying their name while performing a brief movement of their choice (e.g., clapping or jumping in place).
- The group repeats the name and movement together of each of the participants who went before them.
- Continue around the circle until everyone has had a turn to step forward with their name and movement.
- Ask, “Does everyone understand how the game works? Do you think we can repeat everyone's name and movement by the end of the game?”
- Say, "Ready, let's go!"
