- Ask, "Does anyone have any questions or need any help?"
- Give youth five minutes to write down their three stars.
- Say, "Now let's think about your wishes. Turn your papers over and write down one of your wishes – or something you'd like to learn how to do better."
- Give youth three minutes to consider and write down their wishes.
- Ask, "Did everyone write down a wish?"
- Say, "Let's think about that wish as your goal. Maybe you can work on that goal this week to see how much you can improve; and turn your wish into a star!"
- Tell youth they have five minutes left to use the art supplies available to decorate their wishes.
- Ask youth if they would like to share their wishes with the Club.
- Display the wishes that participants volunteer to share.
- Thank everyone for their hard work and creativity.
- Encourage everyone to work on turning their wishes into stars this week.
